This Refund Policy explains the terms for deposits, payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for all DJ services and lessons provided by NaJade (“NaJade,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
By making a booking or payment, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Deposits
1.1. A deposit of [30%] of the total fee is required to confirm any booking.
1.2. All deposits are non-refundable. The deposit secures your date and compensates for the time, preparation, and opportunities declined in order to reserve it for you.
1.3. Once a deposit is paid, your date is removed from availability — which is why it cannot be refunded.
2. Cancellations by the Client
If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following applies:
- More than 30 days before the event: Deposit is forfeited. No further payment is due.
- Between 14 and 30 days before the event: [50%] of the total fee is payable.
- Fewer than 14 days before the event: [100%] of the total fee is payable.
2.1. Cancellations must be made in writing (email or LINE).
2.2. The applicable charge reflects the lost opportunity to accept other bookings for that date.
3. Rescheduling
3.1. Requests to reschedule must be made in writing at least [14] days before the event and are subject to availability.
3.2. We will accommodate one reschedule where possible, and your deposit will transfer to the new agreed date.
3.3. If the new date cannot be agreed or you cancel after rescheduling, standard cancellation terms (Section 2) apply.
3.4. Repeated rescheduling requests may be treated as a cancellation at our discretion.
4. Cancellations by NaJade
4.1. In the rare event that NaJade must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will either:
(a) arrange a suitable replacement DJ of comparable standard at no additional cost to you, or (b) provide a full refund of all monies paid, including the deposit.
4.2. Our total liability in such cases is strictly limited to the total amount you have paid. We are not responsible for any other costs, such as venue fees, other vendors, or travel arrangements.
5. Force Majeure
5.1. We are not liable to provide a refund where a service cannot be delivered due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government action, public health emergencies, civil unrest, power failure, venue closure, or transport disruption.
5.2. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the booking. Deposits and payments will be credited toward the rescheduled date.
6. DJ Lessons
6.1. Lesson fees are payable in advance.
6.2. Lesson packages are non-refundable once the first session has taken place.
6.3. Individual sessions cancelled by the Student with fewer than [24] hours’ notice are forfeited and non-refundable.
6.4. Lesson packages are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions after this period expire and are non-refundable.
6.5. If NaJade cancels a scheduled lesson, that session will be rescheduled at no additional cost, or refunded if rescheduling is not possible.
7. Event Day Conditions
7.1. No refund will be given if NaJade is unable to perform, or performance is interrupted or ended early, due to:
- Incorrect booking information provided by the Client
- Failure of the venue to provide adequate power, access, space, or shelter
- Unsafe conditions, including threats, abuse, violence, or illegal activity
- Any breach of our Terms & Conditions by the Client or their guests
7.2. In these circumstances, the full fee remains payable.
8. How Refunds Are Processed
8.1. Where a refund is due under this policy, it will be processed using the original payment method where possible, within [14] days.
8.2. The Client is responsible for any bank transfer fees, currency conversion costs, or transaction charges associated with the refund.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this Website with the “Last updated” date. The policy in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
