Booking & Pricing
How much does it cost to hire a DJ in Bangkok?
DJ rates in Bangkok and Thailand typically range from ฿3,000 to ฿100,000+ depending on the event. As a general guide: bar and restaurant sets usually run ฿3,000–฿15,000 per night, club night slots ฿5,000–฿20,000, private parties ฿8,000–฿30,000, Thai weddings ฿15,000–฿50,000, destination weddings in Koh Samui or Phuket ฿30,000–฿100,000+, and corporate events ฿15,000–฿80,000. Pricing depends on the DJ’s experience, event duration, venue, location, and equipment needs. NaJade builds custom packages around each event — send your details through the contact form or LINE @djnajade for a personalized quote within 24 hours.
What's included in NaJade's DJ booking fee?
Every standard booking includes a music consultation before the event, NaJade’s performance for the agreed duration, professional DJ equipment where needed, and a curated set tailored to the room and occasion. Travel and accommodation are added for events outside Bangkok. Specific add-ons like extended hours, MC services, or specialty equipment can be quoted on request.
How far in advance should I book a DJ in Bangkok?
For weekends, peak season (November to February), and weddings — book 2 to 3 months ahead minimum. High-demand dates like New Year’s Eve and Songkran fill up further out. Weekday and last-minute events can sometimes be arranged with 2 to 4 weeks notice. Send a message early and you’ll know availability immediately.
What's required to confirm a booking?
A booking is confirmed once two things happen: NaJade sends a written confirmation, and the non-refundable deposit is received. Until both are in place, the date is not held. Full details are in the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
NaJade accepts bank transfer (preferred for Thai clients), PromptPay, and major payment apps. International clients can pay via bank transfer or alternative methods — confirmed during the booking conversation. All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) unless otherwise agreed.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Yes — within the terms outlined in the Refund Policy. Deposits are non-refundable, and cancellation charges scale based on how close to the event date the cancellation is made. One reschedule can usually be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.
Events & Venues
What types of events does NaJade DJ?
NaJade performs at club nights, rooftop parties, pool parties, weddings, corporate events, brand launches, product activations, bars, restaurants, private parties, and yacht events across Bangkok and Thailand. Every event gets the same approach: read the room, choose the right music, build a night people remember.
Does NaJade travel outside Bangkok?
Yes. NaJade is based in Bangkok and available across Thailand — including Phuket, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Hua Hin, and Krabi — as well as international bookings. Travel and accommodation costs are added to the booking and quoted upfront with no surprises.
Can NaJade DJ at a destination wedding in Thailand?
Yes — destination weddings in Koh Samui, Phuket, Krabi, and other Thai islands are a regular part of the work. NaJade brings full equipment where venues need it, coordinates with wedding planners and other vendors, and scores every moment from the ceremony to the last dance.
Does NaJade work with wedding planners and event organizers?
Yes — closely. NaJade integrates with the wider event team, attends planning calls, follows the run sheet, and adapts to last-minute changes. Event planners and venues looking for a reliable DJ for repeat clients can reach out about ongoing partnerships.
What venues has NaJade played in Bangkok?
NaJade plays a range of venues across Bangkok — from clubs and rooftops in Sukhumvit and Thonglor to bars in Silom and private rooftops in Sathorn, plus weddings and corporate events at major hotels and resorts. Specific venues can be discussed in a booking conversation.
Music & Performance
What is music licensing?
NaJade plays progressive house, melodic EDM, pop, and Thai music — and moves between them based on the room. Every set is built live, not from a fixed playlist. Inspirations include Martin Garrix, Alesso, John Summit, DubVision, Third Party, and Avicii.
Can I request specific songs for my event?
Yes. Song requests are welcomed during the music consultation before the event and a “must-play” list and a “do-not-play” list are standard for weddings and private events. On the night, NaJade balances requests with reading the room — sometimes the song that works isn’t the song that was requested, and that’s part of the craft.
Does NaJade play Thai music for Thai clients?
Yes — Thai music is part of the regular set. NaJade understands what works for a Thai crowd, when to bring Thai tracks in, and how to blend Thai music with progressive house, EDM, and pop without breaking the flow. This is a key difference from foreign DJs playing in Thailand.
Can NaJade play both English and Thai music?
Absolutely — most Bangkok events have mixed crowds (Thai locals, expats, tourists), and the music has to work for all of them. NaJade naturally blends languages across the night, reading the floor to decide when to lean Thai, when to lean international, and when to find the bridge between them.
How does NaJade read a crowd?
By watching the floor every minute. Energy, body language, who’s dancing, who’s leaving, what’s working, what isn’t. The set is built live — every track is chosen for what the room needs in that moment, not what was planned three weeks ago. That’s the difference between a DJ playing music at people, and a DJ playing music with them.
DJ Lessons
Does NaJade offer DJ lessons in Bangkok?
Yes. NaJade teaches DJ lessons for all levels — complete beginner to advanced — in person in Bangkok or online via Zoom worldwide. Lessons cover beatmatching, EQ, phrasing, transitions, reading a crowd, building a set, and the soft skills that separate working DJs from bedroom DJs. More details on the DJ Lessons page.
How long does it take to learn to DJ?
A complete beginner can play a basic 30-minute set after 4 to 8 lessons. Becoming a confident, working DJ takes 6 to 12 months of consistent practice. Becoming great is a lifetime — and that’s the point. The first lesson is enough to know if you love it.
What equipment do I need to start learning to DJ?
For in-person lessons in Bangkok, NaJade provides the equipment. For online lessons, a basic DJ controller (Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 or similar), headphones, and a laptop with Rekordbox or Serato are enough to start. Full gear recommendations can be shared in the first lesson.
Can I learn to DJ online from outside Thailand?
Yes. Online lessons via Zoom work for students anywhere in the world. The format is one-on-one, structured around your goals (hobby, club DJing, weddings, content creation), and uses screen sharing for software walkthroughs plus video for technique feedback.
What's the difference between a beginner and an advanced lesson?
Beginner lessons focus on the fundamentals — beatmatching, EQ, phrasing, basic transitions, building a 30-minute set. Advanced lessons cover harmonic mixing, creative transitions, set design, reading a crowd at scale, performance psychology, and the business side of DJing — getting booked, growing online, and building a brand.
Equipment & Technical
Does NaJade bring DJ equipment to the event?
For most bookings, yes — NaJade brings professional DJ gear (XDJs as needed, headphones, cables, USBs). For larger venues, clubs with installed systems, or weddings using a sound company, NaJade can use the venue’s setup. Equipment needs are confirmed before the event.
What DJ equipment does NaJade use?
NaJade plays on industry-standard Pioneer / AlphaTheta equipment — typically the XDJ-RX3 or CDJ-3000 setup with a DJM-series mixer, using Rekordbox for prep. Familiar with Serato when venues have it. Good gear matters — but it’s the read of the room that makes a night.
Does the venue need to provide sound and speakers?
For clubs, bars, and large venues — yes, the venue’s sound system is used. For smaller weddings, private parties, or events without a sound system, NaJade can recommend trusted sound rental partners in Bangkok. Sound rental is quoted separately from the DJ fee.
What does NaJade need from the venue?
A safe, dry, powered DJ space with at least one standard power outlet within reach. For longer events, water and shelter. For outdoor events in Thailand — weather contingency (covered area or moveable setup). Everything else is brought.
General
Can NaJade also be the MC at my event?
NaJade can make basic announcements (welcome the bride and groom, introduce the first dance, call last orders), but isn’t a dedicated MC and doesn’t host the full event. For weddings or corporate events that need professional MC work, NaJade can recommend trusted partners.
How long is a typical DJ set?
Most bookings are 3 to 5 hours, with weddings often running 6+ hours across ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and reception. Club nights are usually 2-hour slots. Bar residencies vary — anything from 3-hour dinner sets to full closing shifts. Custom durations are flexible.
Where can I listen to NaJade's mixes?
Full mixes live on Mixcloud and YouTube. Short clips and live moments are on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Live streams happen regularly on Twitch.
